Help needed: What would you Google?

Hi, I'm in the process of improving my google rankings/website efficiency for my business website.

Can you let me know what you'd search for when looking for driving lessons/schools/instructors in a certain area?

What search engine would you use?

Do you ever use google maps or the sponsored links?

Any comments appreciated.

Gareth

Yeah but this is SEO and cheap is a keyword people search for.

I do SEO as part of my job and if we didnt bid on "cheap" keywords we would lose a lot of sales. We arn't cheap but we still get some of the business.

too far for driving lessons then lol...what part of manc ? and good luck with your business x i really do think that you will only succeed with word of mouth, my son did an intensive week course with BSM and hated the instructor..hence failed..£500 quid down the drain. He thought established firm ...sure to pass. My youngest started with an independant lady with good rep and loved her to pieces ..unfortunately the lady took ill, and its hard to find someone that will give that confidence to either of them and i think thats the main thing in learning to drive

I took my driving lessons with someone that had an excellent pass rate with my friends. I woud say word of mouth is always going to be the best way to promote yourself as a driving instructor.

If I was to search for lessons on Google, I would imagine 90% would simply type 'Driving Lessons Location'. Having an offer on the homepage would also be beneficial I would imagine (e.g. Bulk Book and save £??).

Search engine optimisation.

I use the sponsored links sometimes, the good thing is you will only pay if people click so as long as you start it slowly and link in with google analytics you can track people through your site and see if its working.
