My daughter bought a reburbished phone from orange on ebay
and if it is left it goes onto what seems like standbye mode but only way we can get the phone back on is by switching it off then back on is this normal with this type of phone

Common problem with some sony ericssons. No idea what causes it, but since it isnt insured best way to fix it is take it to an independent phone shop and get them to look at it.

Thanks for that will try to see if i can get Daughters money back from orange first just thought that it was some energy saving mode :oops:

Didn't read the post properly lol. if she bought it from orange then you should be able to get a refund or replacement. But read the t&c's first, sometimes when you buy refurbished goods there's a clause saying that the goods cannot be replaced or refunded. Hope that helps :thumbsup:
