It always takes ages...

incorrect

xvid4psp takes 10 mins to convert a 42 min avi so a film of 90 mins should take 20-25 mins (core 2 duo 2.1ghz).

only takes ages on old processors or poor software

Ok so i just completed a test on xvid4psp i do have a machine about 4 years old so to convert a 45 minute episode was 20 minutes so thats at least half the time of videora or handbrake. But it seems it is a paid application of 59$ for unlimited or 39$ for a 1 year subs.Does anyone else have an application which can beat this time paid or free thnx again especially to csiman who told me about this

hmm what i mean is that i downloaded the xvid4psp but to get it to work i need the microsoft framework 3.0 version which then takes me to a page called the divx online store and shows to buy the Divx pro 7.0 for windows which is £13.99 to buy is there any way to get the xvid4psp to work without doing this cheers

Ok so managed to get xvid4psp to work for a 45 min episode it took 30 minutes on ultra hq mode to encode which is a good ten minutes slower than avs but you have to pay for this so has anyone else got any good converters free or paid which can beat avs?
