Hi any of you clever people help with which programme is best to convert xvid avi files to video ts files so I can burn with nero. Been trying to burn some stuff off my hard drive before new comp arrives but taking 8 hrs to burn 4gb worth of avi file so need to speed up the process a bit

WinAvi is a good and quick program. :thumbsup:

use VSO ConvertXtoDVD its let better then winavi . When i convert thou winavi the pic is blocky.

Vso takes about 1 hour to convert and its spot on

Or if you no your stuff then use tmpg converter

I have no problems with WinAvi.........check your settings. Perfect quality and quick. :thumbsup:

true that winavi is quick for a reason

it gets bad reviews for quality and stuff

apparantly VSO convertxtodvd is one of the best and is what i use

No problems with WinAVI here :thumbsup:

Although since TVersity, only ever need to use it on the odd occasion for mates.

cheers gyys but i must be doing something wrong using vso prog but going to take 2hrs to convert 40 mins file

depends on the power of your cpu which is what converting needs

generally my amd 4400+ does a full film in under an hour i think
