Speak to the manager, get their name and contact details. Tell them how you want it fixed and when by. Ask them if what you want is reasonable. Tell them that you will hold them as manager accountable until it is fixed and you will keep phoning and chasing them up if it isn't done.

If they don't do it get on to their manager and really go at them for about half an hour and it'll get fixed.

When are they going to be available? Book an appointment to speak to the manager.

Phone at a few different times and keep records of when you phone, I can understand that there's a possibility that one won't be available 100% of the time but if you phone at a few different times during the day then they've no reason not to put you through to one.

Are you refusing to let me speak to the manager? How long are they going to be, I'll wait.

If they aren't available then request a call back within 24 hours, surely they're available at some point in the next 24 hours?

Hey mate, why to complain and wait for ages to get answers, simplest solution to this-get new sim card,go to orange website,in my account select upgrade phone, enter new sim`s ser.numbers and in 5 mins your new sim is activated, phone number transfered with all your credit you had. This can be done over the phone aswell.
Had similar problem,as said above, resolved in 5 mins.

^^ SUNRISE Orange do not care about Pay As You Go customers :) I was with Orange Pay As You Go for a very long time, like since they first lunched, there customer service was excellent, but recently since 2000ish they only care about Pay Monthly.

I changed over to Orange Pay Monthly about 2000ish and customer service was really good!
