right ok, my mini moto isnt working so i took the spark plug out, put it back in the rubber cap thing put the electrode against the engine and pulled the pull start however there was no spark. i have used a bit of emery cloth on both sides but doesnt work still, on further inspection the top of the plug (that goes into the rubber plug) is a tad wobbly is this normal? thanks in advance

IS the engine turning over, but no spark.
Would try another cable to the plug and also replace the plug.
If this does not fix it, then it might be the battery or something else.

I don't think it should be wobbly.

the metal tip at the top

That should be able to be screwed on and off ( completely ) the rest of the plug.
Try unscrewing it and check underneath it.
Once it is screwed up tight, usually just hand tight, it shouldn't wobble.

If it wont come off, it does sound like it's duff.
I think a new one is your best bet.
Good luck.
