Hi guys, I have to make a planning application for wood effefct upvc windows. The council want me to use wood, even though other houses have upvc. I need to include in my planning application pictures of lesser appproved windows with text underneath. It cannot be done on word and so wanted to know the most simple idiot proof method please???? many thanks guys!!

It can't be created in Word. But you would need to import the pictures.

Why doesnt it work?

I put pictures in Word documents all the time.

well i have them on my edrive from te camera, copy and paste or cut and paste and the only wayto see them is via reading layout! but then the writing all over 60 pages instead of 1. Am i being silly ????

I have Word 2003.

I select the Insert menu, then the Picture option, then "From file" and I navigate to the file (picture) and then select it.

Office 2007 does it slightly differently, but the principle is the same.

Sorry tried that but same as before you can only see it in reading mode over 60 pages instead of 1 in print or normal view mode
