Hi all, The other day the keyboard stopped working so i checked it was connected correctly and it was so i switched it back on and when windows started i noticed that i couldn't push down on the right mouse button. I kept clicking on it and all of a sudden it started to work again but then i had the dreaded blue screen of death. I held the power button to shut it down but when i tried to restart it there was nothing on the screen, it doesn't even get to the post screen it's completely blank. I'm a bit annoyed at myself because i never wrote down the blue screen error code. Please help. Thank you.

The first thing i would do is check the memory and graphics cards. Just pull them out and pop them in again.

From the sounds of things you may have a problem with the mother board.

check cpu heatsink is clear of dust and then try resetting the bios, sounds like something is blown but without a boot its down to swapping parts out..
don't do above(om4r) suggestion without unplugging from mains

You should have a battery on your MB... Make sure there is no power to your pc and take this out and leave it for a min or so that should do it

Thank you. I've tried everything but it's still not working. It probably is the motherboard.
