I know its not the best programme but due to an injury I spend a lot of time at home resting so I've got a lot of free time. I dont really want to spend a fortune on the dvds as I'll only watch them once, plus its going to work out expensive renting them all. Just wondered if anybody had them on dvd and is willing to lend or maybe put them onto disk for me, obviously I will pay any costs and a bit extra.
Thanks

You could sign up for a 90 day free trial with Lovefilm and rent them all

To do this, go to www.lovefilm.com and input code n4gdxa7wx in the promotions box and then sign up!

Ahh, you are ready for the next step then :giggle:

Make a new email account and go through the Lovefilm sign up process as above.

When asked for your postcode, change the last letter of your postcode until you find one that says 'cannot find address'. Then you can put in the rest of your address correctly, even use the same bank card and Lovefilm will be non the wiser!

I have been doing this every 3 months for nearly 2 years, but other members have been doing it for more than 4 years :w00t:

Wow really??
So when you say 'put the rest of your address in correctly' do I put in my real post code?
Also does it matter how many dvds a month I choose?
Thanks

No, different postcode just make sure its not a real postcode or your dvds might go elsewhere.
Rest of address same

Any package, I always go for the £18.99 3 dvds/games at a time

Let me know how you get on

But if they have the wrong post code, they'll still deliver to my address?

Oh, am I missing out on this? lol

I notice lovefilm is on quidco, can you just sign up through them once?

Also, how does the payment thing work out? is it easy to cancel?

No, because if it's not a valid postcode, then Royal Mail will look at the rest of your address - always works perfectly for me

Lovefilm will only pay your Quidco if you forget to cancel the free trial and end up having to pay them 1 month, I have only done this once so don't know if it would work again.

In 'my account' section on Lovefilm it will have your 'first payment date' listed there. Just send back your DVD's before that time and clear your rental list and then you cancel your subscription online - very easy if you are confident you won't forget

I'm quite insulted by that:x

One of the best shows ever in it's prime.

You do know there's 202 episodes - spanning 9 seasons.

The DVD box set has got like 55 discs or something, finding someone to lend you them will be tough - let alone getting all 55 discs back and forth being arduous.

Problem with getting someone to copy them for you is it's officially DVD piracy so it's best to keep it quiet.

It's fantastic btw, seasons 2-5/6 are the best, 7,8 and 9 are patchy to say the least.

Whereabouts are you located? I have the whole box set (with all series plus the movie) - you can borrow if local

I think the OP meant to say that she already owns the complete boxset but her DVD is dodgy and only plays copied discs.
