Help please my acer netbook hes died!

Got one of these a few months back when the Tesco deal was on and until now it's been fine. This morning it just froze so I switched it off and now it either won't turn on or when it does it just comes up with the blue acer screen and then sticks on that.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Not a clue! I'm pretty useless maybe go for the take it back option. Pity though cause between staff disc and vouchers it only cost me £60 cash and I'll have to shell out a lot more for a replacement :-(

All laptops have a tendancy to just die.

This is my 3rd laptop, only got this one because it was on offer and I hardly have any room in my bedroom.

Will be going back to a desktop ASAP though.

Laptops suck, desktops are so much better.

yeah you might be right, but our desktop is nearly 6yrs old so getting oap status and thought laptop was handy to have in living room etc so i could be more sociable!

They will fail eventually, like all electrical equipment, but I have had the same laptop for five years, my wife has had hers for six years, and they are going strong. My new netbook is only four months old, so cannot comment.

I'd like to see someone operating a desktop on a train:)

I've got an AAO and it occasionally boots only as far as the blue screen. However, be patient...it should resolve the problem itself within 24 hours. When it happens, I let it remain switched on till the battery runs out and if still not fixed when I power it up again, I leave it on for a while and it has always fixed itself. It's happened to my AAO about 4 times since January.

If it works then great. I'd rather not take mine back to ASDA as it's otherwise a great netbook, although I'd understand if you'd prefer a refund.

Well as said it seems to have resolved itself, I'll keep those tips in mind if it plays up again, don't really want the hassle of looking for another and don't reckon Tescos will have another to replace it.
Thanks everyone
