If he's into gadgets then -
a binary watch, an rc helicopter.

or perhaps vouchers for a show or department store

Paramount Zone do a find a gift service - tell them who it's for, their personality and they will list a bundle of items, this may help - http://www.paramountzone.com/gift-finder-search.php

Digital Photo frame?

It gets harder to think up a present as we get older isn't it.

I've got my hubby trainers and a few wii bits for christmas, and my FIL wants B&Q vouchers. So very unexciting!

Good luck on your search

Not a lot! My hubby is in his 43rd year (he hates me adding on a year!!!) and he is a real ungrateful ******! He will get his usual ticket to see Torquay play on boxing day (along with the other 5 fans!); a box of guiness (has to be original or he strops!); ring of fire after curry wetwipes; box of revels; blades (for his face not his neck!); and some other silly things!!

Five years ago we agreed to buy only useful presents - he bought me a scrubbing brush - he is still not forgiven!!!!

As someone who will reach that age myself soon my ideal gift would be a ticket to the british open golf championship :-D . If your husband isn't into sport a nice after shave should suffice
