i bought a digital photo frame as a presant for mother in law (link below) and thought i would put some photies on it ready for her.

i'm not very good with technology! ive managed to save 15 photos onto its memory ( max it can hold!!!!) by putting in my memory card from my camera. i didnt realise it would hold so little. i stupidly thought i could put all my pics on for her and that would be that. i obviously can't keep my memory card in it cos it's mine lol. i have alot of pics saved on my comp that i would like to put on this. so my question is this........... do i need to buy a usb memory stick, plug that intio my computer, put my photos from my comp onto the stick then keep the stick plugged into the digital photo frame?

any help greatly appreciated.

Support 4-1-card slot for SD/MMC/MS/MS-Pro/xD

buy one of these memory cards and add your photos to it

*only ever used SD cards myself, i would guess the max it can hold is a 4gb card as it doesn't mention High capacity SD cards*

they are different sizes (different camera's use different cards)
it says it supports the following cards

SD /MMC /MS /MS-Pro /xD

your best bet would be to buy the one your camera also uses, gives you the option of using in it your camera and also the photo frame then

if your camera uses SD (secure digital) you could go for something like this

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/10536447/Play-com-2GB-SD-Memory-Card-With-USB-SD-SD-HC-Card-Reader/Product.html

comes with a usb card reader so you can plug it into your computer easily

ok so this is what i'm gonna do...... take my memory card to the shop and buy one just like it, put new one in my camera, use the cable to connect my camera to the computer, then somehow transfer photos from comp onto new memory card in camera, then can keep that card in digital photo frame....... does that sound right? :?

do you know what memory card your camera uses? (take it out it should say on it)

if it is the same as any of the ones listed above, then buy one (im guessing no bigger than 4gb to be safe)

you can transfer photos from your computer - to the memory card in your camera, but it would be easier to use a usb adapter like i linked to earlier.

This will hold hundreds of pictures and no messing about with your camera

you just plug it into your pc and drop all your pics in there. Thats it!

1. Get photos from camera onto computer via memory card and USB adapter
2. Get blank memory card
3. Load blank memory card with photos from computer via USB adapter
4. Plug memory card in piece of tat - ooops photo frame
5. Give to recipient

probably but expect to pay double the price and a lot of legwork. pc world will probably do them (you must get an adaptor unless your pc has a card reader built in).

i ordered from play on sunday and it arrived today.
