I would really like your help on this one please.
I purchased a pair of Timberland boots for my husband from E Bay they were listed as genuine but when they arrived they were really bad copies clearly fake,i even took them to a Timberland stockist to confirm, they laughed.
I mailed the seller who said he did not know as he got them as a gift, which i find hard to believe as they were so bad,Anyway he said to post them back and he would refund me.
They cost him £4 to post and he charged me £10 which i feel was way to much.
Sent them back 1st Class and got proof of posting, still nothing so as i paid pay pal i opened a dispute he has told pay pal that he hasn't had the boots back and that as far as he was concerned they were genuine.
Now pay pal said the only way i can get a refund is to prove to them that the boots were fake and it has to be on letter headed paper from a specialist stockist stating why they feel they were fake, since i no longer have the boots i can only go back to the shop i took them to but i cant see them writing me a letter and to be honest i feel a little cheeky asking but what else can i do ?
Any ideas please ?
Thanks so much in advance
