Hi all,

Am trying to sell the below, and have no idea on value.

Any help greatly appreciated!

It's a 1975 "N" Plate Jaguar 4.2 XJ6 L Auto.

It hasn't been started for a good few years, and i'm pretty sure the tyres will have perished by now, but was used regularly up until then.

It is in really good condition for it's age, would spruce up really nicely, possible wedding car or something.

Anyone got any tips to help sell it, value etc?

Ta,

Villan

If you think the car is pretty sound, I'd be inclined to get it running and mot'd. Clean it up and put it on the bay.

What sort of money are you after for it? Any pics, how many owners and what miles?

search on ebay and find out what they are going for.

I don't hold out much hope for it though.

On a more serious note. Have you ever thought about contacting the TV companies to sell it to them?

Edit : Also some wedding car companies use them as well.

Thanks all for replies.

Isn't in bad shape at all, have some pics which i'll try put up later, i wasn't really planning on selling on here, just seeing if there were any members with specialist knowledge!

In answer to jtx, has done just over 60k. I'm not much of a mechanic tbh, so not sure if it's worth me doing it up, would prefer to sell to a collector as a restoration project. Just don't know how much to pitch it at!

I might be interested if the car/price is right.

Get some pics up!

have a look on Jaguars owners club, would imaging its not worth a lot without being a runner given that that around the time it was built was an all time low for the british car industry in terms of quality etc
