Help - Royal Mail Recorded Delivery + I've lost my receipt

  probably delayed due to the xmas rush id wait a lil longer,not a lot you can do without the reciepts i dont think?

  you say 1 arrived friday - if by chance thy still have wrapping - get the recorded number from it and check consecutive numbers either side
  
  i have just checked my pack of recorded slips and they are in numerical order - not sure if the new automatic ones in post office work the same way

  I lost a receipt with the tracking number, went back to the post office and the postmaster retrieved the number for me.

  Calm down dear........ My mate rang up Royal mail the other day because her parcel hadn't been delivered for 13 days and the depot told her that it had a backlog of over 60,000 parcels so be patient ..... This was about four days ago so I imagine the backlog is close to 38.300,000 billion mwahh ha haaaaaaa

  play.com sent me a memory card a week ago and still not here ........ why do rm have to be so useless every year :lol: they know people gonna send everything late lol

  you only posted on thursday afternoon! havent you heard of xmas post delays? 3-4 working days is average around this time. friday must have just been lucky.

  I'd go back to the Post Office and get them to track down your references. Don't wait until you *need* to do that incase of a claim, do it now.

  they wont have any reference. they dont scan the recorded label. they just type in postcode and issue a receipt.
