Help, Tesco Direct order with no delivery date

Odered a cooker from Tesco Direct (Using £5 discount code) but forgot to specify a delvery date. Got confiramtion Email and it says item will be delivered on Thurs 31st December 2009! (Default date apparently if you forget to request one)Rang helpline to advise them I forgot to ask for delivery date and they say it usually takes 3-4 days from order but they cannot edit the order. Apparantly I will receive a call day before they are going to deliver. Anyone able to offer help on contacting delvery people? Really need it this weekend or by Tues at the latest.

Can you not cancel the order and re-do it?
not edit the order, just cancel alltogether?
If all else fails I could but Iv'e already cancelled it once. I saw another cooker model which I thought would suit- cancelled original only to find that replacement was out of stock!
Something tells me I should have just gone in store and picked one up there.

I ordered tonight and did not give a date but premused it would be day after tomorrow just checked my email and

noon (Sunday to Friday). Saturday orders should be delivered anytime on Monday
(excluding bank holidays). Some postcodes such as Northern Ireland and outlying
