Need to get a present by thursday for my friends birhtday, can't by her bath stuff ect as she can't use them. Looking to spend £10 . She is going to New York for her 40th, another frined has already brought her guide books for NY any other ideas that would go with this theme?

did realise it was in the wrong place  but didn't know how to move it!

As for hey big spender, it is only ment to be a small token as we all have kids and big famlies to buy for. We don't have a fortune to spend!!

Starsparkle is nice really. I can assure you no malice was meant there. It would have been a joke. As for the dollars that would be a nice surprise & something your friend would be sure to use & possibly think of you whilst spending it :)

Not much you can get for £10 really,as someone suggested a book, maybe chocolates? Failing that a gift voucher.

I'm like that too! But on the flight back, you don't want to read about the places you have just seen or places you didn't get to see.
Or maybe an itunes voucher so she can download some music or apps etc if she has an ipod.

I take the guidebook for my next trip & read that usually on the way home :)

if it's a whole year before she goes to NY then she might appreciate something she can have / use now
