[HELP] What is the difference between these two printers?

I'm looking at the MP610 and the more expensive MP630 models but when comparing them, I cannot see why the MP630 is more expensive.

I'm assuming that I'm over looking something so I've decided to put it on here to see if anyone else can see the difference.

The MP610 is available at amazon for £84.99 (+ price check against £146.79 at PC World).
The MP630 is available at amazon for £112.78 (+ price check against £120.37 at PC World).

Comparable here on the canon site:
http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Multifunctionals/Inkjet/index.asp#

As well as this, are there other printers you could recommend that have similar functions?
And where should I be looking for deals on these printers? I've looked at: PC World, Amazon, Dixons, Comet, John Lewis, Tesco, ebuyer, dabs and overclockers.

Thanks all.

It looks like the 630 comes with..

On-board scanner
Prints 1 secound faster
Print stright from a USB stick.
Auto - Duplex

No idea what a Auto duplex is, but it sounds good :)

if you want a scanner and a printer go for the MP630.
Otherwise go for the MP610

I'm more than happy with my HP Photosmart C5280, which apart from the duplex printing, does all of the above.

A steal at £57.64 : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Photosmart-C5280-All-One-Printer/dp/B000RO9WGW/

Cheers.
They've both got the same resolution scanning capabilities: "Up to 4800 x 9600 dpi"
Auto-duplex is just a fancy word for double-sided printing which the MP610 has lol
I think I will go for the MP610, it's just 1 second lol

I need the auto-duplex (which I've found out, is really hard to find in an all-in-one printer!)

I had the same problem between these two printers! Get the MP610! It's cheaper and does the same thing as the newer model!

Hi

I had went for the MP610. The 630 (newer model) uses different ink cartridges and currently they work out a bit more per page. The 610 has been out a long while now so I suspect it wont be available for long.
