Hi all

I am going to London for a week. Because of my family I need to go by car. Although I will not use it for transport. I will stay at Travelodge Marlebone. The car park doesn't have to be near but has to be good value. Any advice appreciated.

You must be mad for starters to want to park for a week in London!

I have checked some of the local NCP car parks, its looks like around £20 per day.

I'd suggest you phone the hotel and ask them where they advise people to park, you may find another local hotel provides cheaper parking.

Personally I live in London - (North East)

I would park on a residential road, near the tube station, on the outskirts of London (If you can't train in) You have to make sure that you are not in the congestion zone!

Most residential roads near tube and train stations are for resident permit holders only!

So that means a walk for you - with luggage.

Can you not take the national express into London - or the train!

It would save you worrying about your car.

Drop your family off and then park outside London and travel back in on the tube.
