HELP....Where would documents be stored?

I had my car insurance documents sent to me via email and NOW I CANT FIND THEM! Anyone have any idea where they would be saved?Have tried all the usual places like my documents. My laptop is being picked up sometime today for repair and I need them.Thanks

did you not keep the email you mean, and saved the docs to comp

search your email by typing in the company name - car insurance companies always send this informaiton via post though as well............

if you just opened them from email then didnt save, they may not be anywhere :p

or search your computer using the search tool located in your strat menu or windows explorer

On my computer the default place for saving e-mail attachments is in a folder called 'downloads', I usually find it by clicking on the start button and it's on the right side of the menu, in where my documents etc. appears. This is using vista home premium by the way.....

why not just email the insurance company asking to resend them?

if you can find an email with an attatchment and open it, you will then see where it will be saved, well thats how i would find it, as im not to good on this sort of thing
