Help with a home cinema system

OK I'm looking for a home cinema system for my new flat. Any A/V gurus out there willing to provide some advice, hints, product recommendations for me?

Basically I'm looking to buy a 5.1 surround blu ray home cinema system. Ideally I would like 2 front pillar speakers, with the rest being the smaller satellite ones.

I also have a PS3 (which has optical out and HDMI) and a Media PC (currently with HDMI out) that I'd like to hook up to the speakers also.

I'm not sure whether I would be better going for a model with 2 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI input and 1 optical input, or one with 2 optical inputs (which would then mean I'd prob need to change the sound card on the PC).

If you would care to recommend any products to me I would also appreciate it. Budget is about £250 to £500.

Hope some of you can help! thanks in advance

sorry didn't see the blu ray bit!! i'm sure panasonic do a blu ray version though but i'm not sure why OP wants a blu ray one when they've already got a ps3?

That may be an idea, might head over there to get some help.

Will still happily welcome everybodies input though

Infact as long as it has an optical in for PS3 and a 3.5mm jack for PC connection then that would suffice
