Hello im looking at the full works of bedding for my house i move into next week, Need duvets, sheet, covers pillows the lot. But im stuck in which to go for, Alot of people recommend Eygptian cotton to me but whats the main differences? I personally dont like to be too warm when sleeping but as most people love to be comfy.
Been looking at Goose and Down duvet @ Duvet + Pillow warehouse anyone used them?

http://www.duvetandpillowwarehouse.co.uk/product/1/10/436/Duvets/Goose%20Feather%20&%20Down

Although Yorkshire linen do the White Goose duvet @ £50 for a double, Any recommendations on what to go for and stores to use?

Heat and rep added to the helpful lot

Not so up on the Egyptian cotton sheets even though my mum loves them. I just go with good quality ones like M&S.

As for duvet's I think spending the money is well worth it as with a good mattress for a good night sleep. I would look at an all season one where you get 2 duvet's one for summer one for spring and use both together for winter. Also gives you something to use when you take one to get dry cleaned.

The one you are looking at is available as an all season of 4.5tog and 9tog as seems good value at £60.

I would beg borrow and make do, until the Jan sales. Or even buy really cheap quilt Asda for a few quid.........Then you can get much better quality items for a lot less

Egyptian cotton is really comfortable (more thread count, more comfort) but creases very easily and is a pain in the a5s to iron!

For a deal try Wallace Sacks - 50% off all Egyptian Cotton bedding:

For top quality at reasonable price, try King of Cotton:

Hello, I am in the market for a goose down duvet and the best deal I can find is this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000G7LCD6/ref=nosim/?tag=hotukdeals-21 from Amazon. £93-30 (RRP £230) with free delivery. 13.5 tog.

There are cheaper ones from the same name (Fogarty's) in Double and single, but I am after a Kingsize.

I hope this is of help.
