Help with buying a Wii

Ok, I know there are plenty of you out there who know a lot more about games than I do. I need to purchase a Wii as an Xmas present for a 10 year old girl. I have seen plenty of packages on here but really want something that is basic and not with all the extra bits and pieces that seem to be attached to it.
The deals I have seem posted on here that come up around £100 seem to always go cold.
Some help on a good package to buy would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks in advance (and of course rep given to anyone that can help).

I think most places are selling for £180 with free game, not sure what you have seen for £100 on here

Wii deals for £100? You sure that ain't for a wii fit + extras, wii consoles usually retail around 180 with wii sports, a nun chuck and wii remote all included as standard.

Getting confused between a Wii and a DS? DS go for around £100.

£200 but do not really want to have all the accessories to go with it if she has no intention on using them.

You see, I know nothing about these things. So £180 is about the average price.

i know it takes you over budget , but id say the wii fit board is a must ! my 2 girls ( 10 + 8 ) love it and there is a lot of in built games that go with that ! ( although , might be difficult getting one now )

SHOPTO.NET are doing it for £234.89 delivered !

£195.73
So you get Wii Sports, as well as a choice of two other games.
Best deal at the moment imho:thumbsup:

Recommended games: Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart (with wheel) /or Mario & Sonic at the olympics

I had this same dilemna, I went for the Tesco deal last week that came with the basic 'included game' for £163.03. I have also bought the Wii play from the Lovefilm deal suggested on HUKD for £25.

However, the one mentioned by tubby above seems even better to me. If you take it with the Wii play and the Mario Kart (with wheel), you beat me. And I was happy with my deal!!

But having read that thread, apparently it's not in all stores, so brace yourself for rejection if they don't have it...;-)
But that's the price point and what to expect to aim for £200 or less

Console (inc Wii Sports)
2 Separate games
