Hi sorry i dont know if this is in the right catergory ??

I was wondering if anyone could help me with something please? I seem to remember a while back someone saying that Gamestation will pricematch plus £1 games you trade in ?? Is this right ? Does it only apply to games and how do i go about it?

I would be soooooo grateful for any help please ....

Yes, gamestation match cex for games of any format.
Will also match for accessories, umd's, blu rays (I believe the criteria for whether they'll accept or not is if they are still selling those items)

the cex store will need to be within a certain distance (5 mile radius?)
also need proof of competing price. This can be done over the phone (make sure you go during cex customer services opening times) or they can access the internet from GS store to check prices.

that's great thanks you're a star !!!! thank you :-)
ps ... do you reckon cex or ebay are the best place to sell off old dvds ? I know you don't tend to get much.

I don;t use ebay really so couldn't tell you.

If you want cash,
you'd probably get better prices selling them on here considering cex reluctance to accept cash.
Gamestation have refused to price match them on cash for me last time because of this.

However you;d still have to factor in delivery costs.
If you want credit to use in gamestation though... rinse the pricematch promise and wait for a good gamestation deal to come along.
I was laughing when the hd dvd offer came along :)
