My 5 month old son will be christened on the 21st of this month and I'm after a cute (reasonably cheap) gift or gesture to give the guests to take home with them to remind them of our special day, The only thing Ive thought of so far is to relabel minature choccie bars with my own personalised label, we did this in our wedding so I ideally wanted something different but am completely lost for ideas PLEASE HELP!!!

Dress him in the clothes he will be wearing on the day.
Have a family photograph taken - a good one, using a digital camera and take time over composition and background etc.
Have someone that he knows to stand behind and to the side of the photographer waving one of his favourite toys and speaking to him. That way he will be looking up bright eyed and smiling.
Spend time to choose the best photo. If you shoot in natural light on burst mode you will definitely get something.
Get multi copies of the photo (Boots, etc) and put them in those card mounts.

This will be a lot less stressful than trying to get a good photo on the day and will be a perfect memento.
50p to a £1 each, I have about 60 guests but would do 1 per family so would need bout 30!!!!
you can get a book for guests to write in and they receive a chocolate personalised with your sons details. - wishes and kisses. i used this idea for my sons first communion. another idea is a small candle with a sticker of a cross or similar . you can get good deals on candles at the cash and carry and craftshops for the stickers. good luck with your special day
look on ebay they were doing baby photoframes 2 for 99p. put them in an organza bag and hey presto you have the perfect christening favour!
