Help with deciding on an MP3 player, please!

I was wondering if someone could help me out in buying an MP3 player.

I saw the Creative Vision: M 30gb deal and am thinking about going for it as I've been looking for a decent sized player (my current player is only 4gb).

But all I really need is something with decent sound quality. The viewing pictures and video functions that the Creative has aren't really necessary, so I'd kind of feel like I'm wasting my money a bit.

So I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives, with a similar capacity (about 20 or 30 gigs), that gives good sound quality?

The Creative is only 79.99 though, so is it realistic for me to find a 20-30 gig player thats sufficiently cheaper? As if any alternatives are a similar price to the Creative I'm thinking I may as well just go for the Creative as the features will be worth that extra bit of cash.

I hope i've explained that well!! And thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I don't think you'll find anything with that capacity at a cheaper price. I was looking for the same thing a couple months ago and ended up getting a refurbised Zen Vision:M from Creative for £90 as there weren't really any alternatives, so this deal is a great one!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I can't seem to find a player for a similar price. I was hoping something might be out there that with a large capacity that just played MP3's well, but it seems as though the Creative is the way to go.

rep left btw

i wouldn;t get a sandisk if you wanted really good sound - sony or creative would be better - but sony walkmans are a lot more expensive
