Hi Folks, seeing as the deal was originally posted on here I thought I'd ask first.

Right in a nutshell I'm trying to find out the spec of a Dell 5150 computer I purchased from the BTshop in May 2006 for £349.98

The reason I ask is the computer has now become faulty (motherboard fault I think) and I was going to sell it, but I have no idea what processor it has in it.

I've tried emailing BTshop but their systems only go back to 2007!, and I cannot find the purchase receipt.

The Dell service tag tells me the processor is a :

Processor,80547,Pentium 4 Prescott Dt,650,SKT-T,Male

But It doesn't tell me the speed (2.66Ghz, 2.80Ghz or 3.06Ghz)??

I'm unable to find out the speed via the computer because I cannot get the computer to boot, and I don't want to remove the heatsink to find this out either.

So I'm trying to find the deal posted on here from back in 2006, I've tried searching but I'm having no luck, I think mikeT was the poster of the deal.

The deal was for the Dell Dimension 5150 (base unit and keyboard only) No monitor or anything.

The other spec is :

256mb,Radeon,X600 Graphics Card
DVD+/-RW,16X,IDE NEC Drive
250GB Hard Drive
1gb Of Memory (2 x 512mb)

If anyone could help that would be great, cheers

Pete

PS : If anyone wants to know the service tag I'll PM it to them

yea same here I can't find it either, maybe HUKD doesn't go back that far, i'm pretty sure it was MikeT as he was the main Dell poster back then, I don't think I added any posts to the thread, I made the deal hot but that's it
