Help with FS topics please?

I have for sale on here a few items, one of the mods has closed my listing with a pathetic comment at the bottom saying :

"Bump 3. Posts must be reserved at the time of listing, otherwise you run the risk of each pic post being deemed a bump.
In addition, the OP must contain a list of all items and asking price.
Report your thread when you've made this alteration and we'll review."

Post 1 is a list of everything im selling along with prices, and pics were added on immediatly after.

What could i be doing wrong?

Also is there a way you can see what mods are online so i can speak to one?

Thanks :)

you can put 5 pics on the one post but if you know you're going to add more than 5 pics you need to go into your thread and 'book' the next post!

If i had 20 pics, i would reserve the first 4 posts.... i'll show you...

reserved for pics

yeah theres 5 pics per post, i had it all wrote out in word before i posted it, i copied and pasted everything straight over. I didnt do a list in 1st post then 10 mins later put 1st lot of pics on, then 2nd lot 10 mins after that etc (if you get what i mean?!)
#4
you would then go in and edit each post to add your pictures....

If you add pics are comments have started, it's as though you're 'bumping' your own thread (to place it at the top or beginning again, which is unfair for those posting new threads)

Does this make sense?

you might wanna edit your post regarding the mods making an a**** comment! that wont go down well!
#6
Hit the report button to ask for mod assistance in the thread to to be PM'd

As previously explained, the Opening Post (not post #1) must contain a list of all items for sale and an asking price.

The issue with reserving posts at the time of thread creation in order to avoid unnecessary bumps has also been clarified previously.

Please follow this guidance, your disrespectful remarks have been ignored, however one thing you should try and appreciate is the fact that every time you bump a thread (intentional or not), you are demoting the listings of other members who do adhere to the rules. We're only trying to be fair to all users of the trading forums, so do please bear that in mind.

Threads unlocked as nono2522 has now amended the OP's to contain the information previously asked for.

The final answer to your question is to report the thread through the usual channels. The next available moderator will pick this up for action. We don't recommend direct contact with a mod as you have no way of knowing when they will be available to deal with your issue(s).

ok, someone point out to me where in the rules it states that lists and prices MUST be posted in opening posts? You will not find it. I simply questioned this, and posted a topic for help.

I respect most of the mods and team on here, they do a great job.

Some people on this site, im sure are just here to try and ruin it for people.

I dont think i can be banned for my opinion??

nono2522,

I've already replied to you, however here's a reminder.

Trade Obligations

All threads must include an asking price or valuation of the item if intending to trade only.

I deem the thread to be created when you've submitted the OP. However you are now looking at technicalities. I must remind you that this isn't a court of law, therefore we aren't bound by the same rigorous testing that may be held elsewhere.

I've asked you to ensure that OP's contain the price and detail each item. If you don't respect that request then you won't be eligible to list any further,

In future i will.
I am simply pointing out i followed the rules, which states i need to put a price, seconds after posting my topic i added a list with prices on - as per the rules. You have now decided it HAS to be in the opening post, if this is right then the rules need to be updated.

I am a member who reads the rules and reads the regular updates

Hi,

Had the above been a true reflection, you'd have used another bump. I've explained so much, that I'm actually turning blue in the face. It has to the in the OP, members should see this at the top of the page regardless of the number of posts in a thread.

You've already had a major strop today, you were rude and I let you ramble on. If you won't respect the mods, do at least respect your fellow members,

Thread closed.
