Hi,
My Daughters homework is about number roots. She has to find deriviations of the numbers 2, 3, 4, and any others she can think of. Tried the internet but it seems very complicated. Any help would be fantastic.

its been a while since my physics degree from what i remember:
2 is a squared
3 is cubed
4 is called forth

and so on

iv used example at random : in this case i use 9 and 4

so squared is the number times by itself so some examples 9squared =81 (9x9) or 4squared =16 (4x4)

cubed is the number times by the number times by the number 9 cubed =729 (9x9x9) or 4 cubed(4x4x4) =16

forth is 9 x 9 x 9 x9 = 6561 or 4 forth = 4x4x4x4= 256

i hope im correct !
