Hi
I have got a couple interview questions which I am unsure what to write about and I wondered if someone could help point me in the right directions.

1) Tell me about a time when you built a relationship with someone different to you
2) Tell me about a time when you paid attention to details, how did you feel afterwards?
3) Tell me about your interest / hobbies and what you contribute and get out of them?

I would be grateful for any help that anyone could give! Thank you very much!!

2) Tell me about a time when you paid attention to details, how did you feel afterwards?

I paid attention while reading question 1 which in turn made me realise that I didnt want to work for an organisation that couldnt actually formulate proper interview questions

In reply to question 1...how about past relationships with colleagues you may not get on with but you have to pull together as a team for the greater good.

If your still at school/college (sorry dont know how old you are) you could say about a school/college play that you all had to pitch in together to help with.

I'll add more if i think of a good answer

I hope this is a well paid/respected job! Those are tough questions!

2) could this be a work or college project where paying attention to detail pleased the client. Maybe those little extra details made all the difference. It would help if we knew what sort of job you are going for. Try to make it relevant if possible

seriously, the questions are retarded

"1) Tell me about a time when you built a relationship with someone different to you"

Since when do we build a relationship with ourselves??

"2) Tell me about a time when you paid attention to details, how did you feel afterwards?"

This one time, at band camp, when I paid attention to detail, I felt dirty afterwards

"3) Tell me about your interest / hobbies and what you contribute and get out of them?"

I am only allowed to have 1 interest for safety reasons. More than 1 overloads my circuits.

What I contribute?

"I have many friends, they are all different people than me. "

2) Tell me about a time when you paid attention to details, how did you feel afterwards?

"I got shortchanged in a store so i stormed back and shouted at the woman until i got my money back, i felt like a true man"

3) Tell me about your interest / hobbies and what you contribute and get out of them?

"I'm interested in getting a job. I contribute by answering these questions. Hopefully i will get some money"

There you go. You will 110% get the job.

thanks for the reply I did answer about working as a team at uni but then they said it had to be a particular person and that puzzled me as when I was preparing for the interview, by looking at sample questions online, nothing like this was on there so had no idea what to answer!

it was for a management accounting job unfortunately I didn't get :( but that was expected because most of the questions wasn't like the ones I prepared and I found them quite hard to answer. But at least I have had the experience of a telephone interview, so thats why I am wondering if anyone could come up with any suggestions for the questions in case I get asked them in the future!!
