Try taking the battery out and plugging it in to the mains. Switching it on here can often override some problems.

btw, its common courtesy to update threads where you have asked for advice on a problem and fixed it.

What os are you using? Also what firewalls, virus software are you using and will look into it for you. Never had any system problems with the software on xp or vista 32bit.

Yes noticed on the other thread you had vista. Just done a reinstall on my vista machine and no problems. Did you get it installed ok or did the problem happen as it was installing?

Have you got a CD burner on the computer you are using? If so download the vista recovery disk off a torrent and run the recovery centre. This should get you back in. Un-install convertxtodvd using ccleaner. Then run a virus check. If you want to install it again do so then delete the key gen after installation as some virus software sees some of the code used in it as the same code used in some viruses (not AVG though) which makes me wonder if you have other virus programs running unnoticed in the background.

Just a thought, but might not be so, do you have a Data CD in your laptop drive? This can often bring up the blue screen. Stick an opened paperclip through the little hole on the drive to eject it.

sounds like you're stuffed then tbh. no recovery cd and BSOD = buy a proper vista / xp disk I'm afraid or ring microsoft and say your disk is lost and give them your serial key.
