Similar to what pcnutta said, I once got a load of family photo's together and made a photo album. My Mum loved it. She will love anything that has thought in it. Cost doesn't matter!

My suggestion would be........box of Lily O'Brien Chocs (Tesco £6.49) yummy and a hand made gift voucher to do some chores around the house, eg cook a meal, or do the weeks ironing, or make the beds, or baby sit for younger siblings so Mum can go out, any combination of any of these.
Good Luck... remember cherish your Mum, I lost mine suddenly . regards Amelia :)

A good one with the weather getting nippy, a Per Una scarf from M&S. Shouldn't be more than about 20 quid. My mum loves em!

how about a new dressing gown - nice warm one - the diney store have some nice ones ort you could take her for a meal (the Ask 2 for 1 are till on) so that could be quite a reasonable night out
#28
How about taking her for lunch? I recently had lunch in bella italia it cost £20 for 2. I should mention that was a specific menu which was also a week day.

I love the idea of a dvd, wine etc.

Poundland have microwaveable popcorn atm, you could also get some malteasers and a dvd (any dvd) you can get them for as cheap as £5 and possibly get something like ame or shloer. Have a nice night in with her. Sure she'd apperciate it more than a disposable gift. :?

Boots have some good deals on atm too, think this week will be an fcuk gift bag thing half price.

I cant think of anything else right now. :( Got to buy my mum 2 presents in the next 2 months! Woops. Think i'll do somethig like the popcorn / malteasers / dvd thing for her... she loves dvd's! and i only get to see her about once every 2 months lol.

Being a mum of an almost 16yr old boy, I would be very happy with anything. But I would be particularly impressed if he bought me a new top, make up, or some lovely stuff from lush! ( lush is especially good for us mums, its sooooo scrummy and special! My top would have to have a bit of sparkle to it as its the festive season! Actually, I hope my son looks on here at some point, i may have to tell him about it!lol
