What colour do you get if you mix red & cyan ?

What colour do you get if you mix red,green & blue

What colour do you get if you mix magenta & green

What colour do you get if you mix magenta,yellow and cyan

Thanks for any help,Google is doing my head in,for future reference are there any sites that actually help with kids homework such as this ?

They aren't allowed to bring text books home!

Well cyan is blue so surely the first one is purple?

Red, green, blue is that not brown?

Assuming mixing light:

What colour do you get if you mix red & cyan ?
white

What colour do you get if you mix red,green & blue
white

What colour do you get if you mix magenta & green
white

What colour do you get if you mix magenta,yellow and cyan
white

Colour addition. The 3 primary colours are RBG

The primary colours are red, blue and yellow.

Green is a secondary colour, made by mixing blue and yellow.

And the colour resulting from mixing others depends on the medium - mixing light achieves an entirely different result from mixing paint. :p

Apparently one column says colour of light/s at the top and then the combinations i posted in the OP then the next coloum says ,Scene colour where they overlap

The scene colour column is blank for the answers!

No wonder i'm confused,the subject is science,i thought it was art lol

Yes, I thought it must be science - I have set similar questions so many times!!
Definitely all white.

Goes like this:
R+G+B = white

overlap cyan = blue + green , add red ..... so R+G+B = W
and so on.

If you did this for real, you'd have to get the same intensites of each 'colour' so we'll just ignore that.

nswers are all white
red, green, blue primary colours of light - mixing all 3 makes white
cyan is blue + green
magenta is red + blue
yellow is green + red
