Hi All,

Was just hoping someone may be able to point me to a decent site for advice on Epson printers.....other than the obvious one!

My printer is printing twice down the left hand side and I've done all the nozzle checks, head cleaning and allignment stuff. Nothing worked. Not willing to buy yet another printer so was hoping someone could direct me to a helpful site.

Thanks.

I'd say the belt was slipping then, how old is the printer?

2 - 3 years. I know that's quite old in printer years - but it cost a fortune at the time and I'd like to try and save it first. Can I sort out the belt? Any sites you can suggest for a step by step?

I don't think it is that common - RX560.

So it you print a doc that is blank on the left side it prints ok?

Only success fixing epson printers was where they left dirty ink marks down the the paper. In that case I was able to take apart and clean out the ink waste pads inside. Gave them another year or so life.

It double prints length wise sometimes too - but it's generally whatever is left-most stretches and double prints.

Think I may have killed it for good now anyway with all my tinkering.......oO

Thanks guys. It's dead. Turns itself off if I try to print now so I already ordered a new one with my multi coloured hands!

Just a thought http://www.rewardandrecycle.com/_Content/en-US/qualifying-products.htm
The dell P513w for £80 + Quidco. £40 trade in also available. You don't need to send old cartridges so they won't be able to test the print. Would work out about £30 odd for the printer.

This is a wireless printer.

Thanks - but I'm totally rubbish at redemption deals - always forget. Just ordered one online....then realised delivery was 2 wks away!!! No rush now I'd admitted defeat though.(_;)

You start the redemption as soon as you receive the printer and its a one off cashback.
