Been using the xbxo a few times throughout the day with no problems. Turned it on about 20 mins ago and got the dreaded RROD. Switched it off and on a couple of times, and sometimes the red rings come up and other times the console comes on ok.

What, if anything, should I do?

Are you definite that it is RROD, as the red lights can appear for other reasons. What formation are the red rings in ?

arcade model from March 2006.

Worried if it is terminal because the gf bought me it off Ebay so have no proof of purchase and it appears to be just out of warranty
