I have a couple of movies on my PC. They are good quality and I can watch them on VLP with no problems. However when I try and burn a disk using NERO the disk when I play it on a DVD player either has picture problems or no sound or the sound is out of sync. !!

Any suggestions, the writer is about a year old but has only been used about 20-30 times.

Also CD's burnt on Windows Media Players sometime skip on playback.

Is this gonna be the drive? the disks? the PC??

Any help or suggestions much appreciated!!

Nero by itself can go out of sync but also the quality of the recording if downloaded from p2p.
Try image burn (google for address) DVD shrink will help to record from DVD and DVDFab will help.
Check video forums such as AV or afterdawn for more precise help
