I've tried uninstalling flash and re-installing but it has done nothing?

Anyone else had this problem before?

As you can see it says it's full buffered but it won't go past that mark.

Just cleared everything possible in my browser and rebooted laptop...didn't work.

Will try restarting my router now.

Which version of flash are you installing? It'll say 10.1 probably but what is the specific version (e.g. 10.1.82.76)?

Uninstall Flash using the uninstall utility from Adobe (not through control panel) http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

then install the latest version which is 10.1.82.76: http://www.filehippo.com/software/internet/plugins/ (choose non-IE for firefox, chrome, etc or IE for internet explorer..)

Go here:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

and clear the flash cache (clearing temp files/cache from the browser doesn't clear flash cache)

Which browser? Tried updating it?

I think I had the same problem.. not sure if it still does it as I dont use youtube much but I got around by just clicking a few seconds ahead and then it played fine..

Similar problem on my Mac today. Plays eventually but it just won't start even when fully buffered.

does i player work?
i had a problem with it the other day - turned out the flash update didnt work because my zonealarm firewall blocked it. try uninstalling flash, then reinstalling without your firewall on (without connecting to the internet if possible)

mines the same, has been for ages, other players seem fine though,
