I thought you tried selling it and no one wanted it?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/188226/for-sale-heroes-season-1-hd/

Ive just bought it for £12.99 so i think you would probably be better off keeping it

It looks good on BBC HD, so I'd say keep it. And the way prices have fallen, you probably won't make much selling it on.

yeah i tried to sell it along time ago , it didnt work i bought it using cex vouchers so got it cheap anyways

I very much enjoyed Heroes on HD DVD, there are some scenes where there's a bit of grain (the 'bright' scenes in the desert with Nikki, some of the low light rooms) but overall it looks great, the huge amount of extra detail in the skin and hair particularly made the characters have even more of a presence. Admittedly it's not something I'll watch again for a while (quite a few people have watched my HD DVDs which has helped to get the money's worth) although as mentioned the discs aren't worth much these days anyway.

I think that happens on most HD-DVDs because i know when i was watchin the kingdom there was quite a lot of noise in the background during the night scenes but it added quite a nice effect to the film imo
my set of heroes should be coming today :)

Not really, just depends on the setup - Heroes is a TV series shot in a variety of different places so I wouldn't really expect the low light quality to be that great. If you looke at the Matrix or V for Vendetta which are both dark films then you'll see very solid blacks and dark colours.

from what i saw this weekend
..watching shooter and disturbia i thought the quality was sublime
might watch V for Ven tonight but tbh even if the quality isnt that good its always gonna be better than dvd and with most HD-DVDs being 5 quid or so now you cant really go wrong

p.s watchin on 1080p btw :)

The quality on V for Vendetta is superb, it was the first HD DVD I bought (160 quid for it, Serenity and the 360 HD DVD drive) and I was very pleased with the purchase. The blacks, whites and reds are so sharp and clear it makes the DVD version seem so blurry even on simple aspects such as the red on black Norsefire emblem.
