Having see all of the first series, stick with it - it takes a few episodes to really introduce the characters, but it gathers momentum all of the way through. Along with Life On Mars, probably the best tv series this year for me.

This was the first seriess yeah?
I think i'll watch it from now on, keep me going till Lost is back.

Saw a bit of it, was busy replying to someone on here and my only room with a signal in house(well without dragging 30 metres of cable from one room to another) wasnt the same room as PC, saw most of the first episode and just saw about 3 minutes of second.

I thought it was pretty good. Will deffo watch it

Seen the first season, well worth watching. Don't watch a lot of telly but this was something I watched every week without fail

Best programme on TV at the moment - it over took 24 / Lost / Prison Break on my favourite's list!

Hiro Nakamura is probably one of the best Characters I have seen in a programme like this!!!

Really can't wait for Season 2 - think it is shown in USA in October, and hopefully Sci-Fi will have it on by Christmas.

For all you watching on BBC2, I think there are 22 / 23 episodes so this should take you up to Christmas, and hopefully the start of Season 2.

Even better for you guys watching now is the lack of adverts!!!!!

Me and my mates had a discussion to find out if it was wrong to fancy the Cheerleader! As soon as we saw her as a Brunette, we agreed it wasn't lol!!!

She is very pretty

Heroes is a fantastic show :) Hiro is so funny but i love the story of the Petrelli brothers

Saw episode one on Bravo (?) then again on the BBC of course, but despite the fact I like the concept I strangely haven't found the motivation to pursue it further. It was much better watching it without adverts of course :)

Nah not really Mr B missed the first episode when it was on cable but picked it up fine. if its not repeated yer still gonna be ok

Great series, did falter a bit bout two thirds in, slightly disappointing season finale, but i'll still be watching season 2.

It's a shame the BBC never got the rights to season 2, only season 1, SciFi will take over that with their ****** 4:3 broadcast. Although BBC may get S02 rights sonce SciFi has aired it. by which time S03 will have started.

All of Season 1 is available to download if you look :)
#23
Repeats late tonight on BBC2 if you missed it!

I expect to see this in the future on Sky1, just like they have done with 24 and Lost!

Apart from the TV adverts, the specially created BBC2 idents, the ads on the front page of the BBC website, and the cover of the Radio Times? :giggle:

Woah, the Heroes premiere gave BBC2 the edge and they beat BBC1!

It even only got slightly less viewers than Top Gear...

Where did you read that? Will be interesting to see, I thought Sci-Fi channel were involved in the production of the show, hence why they showed it first?

That means we are gonna have to wait YONKS to see Season 2 then!
#29
I have to say that I love heroes! I have watched all 23 episodes from america and am definately looking forward to watching the next series.

I even noticed my dad watching it in the living room last night and he really enjoyed it! - He doesn't like any other series I like (Prison Break namely), so I am really suprised!!!:giggle:

From Broadcast

"The BBC has thrown its weight behind US drama Heroes by paying what is understood to be in excess of £400,000 per episode for the second season even though it hasn't shown the first series yet.

The corporation forked out around five times more than it paid for the first season beating off competition from ITV, Sky, Channel 4 and Virgin Media.

The Sci Fi Channel is currently airing the first season after picking up the UK first-run rights last year. BBC2 will then begin to air the 23 x 60-minute series in the autumn.

While a BBC spokewoman would not comment on the price she said that the corporation has acquired all UK rights to the second series and will air it both on BBC2 and BBC3. She added: "We believe this represents good value for money."

Rumours are the beeb don't want to lose momentum and may start showing S2 as early as January.

EDIT: If they don't screw around with S1 (cancelling for snooker etc) then it will finish on December 19th - just before xmas, and maybe a perfect time to have a few weeks' break to launch into S2 in the New Year...!
