I am getting these a lot lol
Anyway have bought a new 360 from Argos at weekend since I got it late and really wanted to play one and it was only place open at that time lol.
Anyway took it home and its not working, games load but freeze often, tried reformatting hard drive and clearing cache.
Took it back around 5.45pm and woman refused a exhange or refund and told me to contact MS, even though it was 3 days old, then when I said its only 3 days old why do I have to she did a search of the box looking for "flaws" that could prove its older i.e said the power supply brick was dusty therefiore old, then the cable had a mark on it(tiny stain from when I was winding cable up and knocked it against a pot)
Then after I still said it was 3 days old she then looked at manufacture date and said "it was made in 2007 therefore is old stock and we only sell newer models)
I argued some one and the new excuse was the serial numbers dont much, despite there being none on the box! only job lot numbers and she wasnt sure where they were on console so said since the job lot number wasnt on it, it wasnt the one they sold to me!
Finally she said MS cusomer support is only open office hours and they need to authorise a return or repair, and MS sends out an engineer next working day to fix it.
Total BS but she was the manager!
I think I should complain, wouldnt you?
