[COLOR="DarkSlateGray"]We're so confident our prices are unbeatable that we've come up with the Comet Price Guarantee.

Here's how it works: if you've bought something from us and you find an identical product at a lower price within 10 miles of the store you bought it from, we'll refund the difference. Just let us know within 14 days. You can't lose.
Our Comet Price Guarantee applies to products you've bought over the phone or online as well as in store.

All we ask is that the item you compare against is boxed and sold as brand new, in stock and available for delivery and that we can verify the price either in writing (for example an advert) or verbally (for example by phoning them up).

There are a couple of exceptions. We won't try to match the price of internet or mail order companies with no stores. Nor do we match against warehouse or mail order clubs or voucher promotions, either online or in-store.

No problems :)

Currys & PC World have also removed Amazon from their Price Promise lists, so it's actually getting harder to find an online company to price match with now.

Currys Price match with > Argos, Comet, PCWorld, Woolworths, B&Q, Jessops, Tesco, John Lewis & Asda.

PCWorld Price match with > Argos, Comet, Jessops, Tesco, John Lewis, Asda, B&Q, Game Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Maplin, Play (excludes TVs), Staples, Toys R Us, Virgin & Woolworths.

i've just found it at tescos £50 cheaper so i think i'll get currys to match that so it'll only cost £5 more than the amazon price :) Just got to get the money off OH now that'll be the hard bit!

Hi

If you've never had a DVD recorder before, I strongly advise you to buy one with a hard disc drive (HDD). Get the largest HDD you can afford.

A hard disc drive makes recording so much easier. Usually, you simply press the Record button or set a timer and your TV programme is recorded straight onto the HDD - no messing around with discs. Also, you can edit the recorded programme, chopping out adverts or any other bits you don't need. Then, if you want to keep the programme forever, it is an easy matter to transfer it onto a disc.

Get one with a HDD! You will wonder how you ever did without it.

Incidentally, you won't go wrong with a Panasonic DVD recorder, one of the best and most highly recommended recorders available.
