If you like Beer and chocolate you are laughing.

I passed through Dunedin a few years ago. The South Island of New Zealand is a lovely place. Dunedin itself is a really nice place. Its got a Scottish feel about it, starting with the name haha.
Speights is a large Brewery in New Zealand and they have their beer factory there.
Also Cadburys have their Factory there, that was ok if you have kids, being 23 at the time and being told i wasnt allowed to take my health and safety hat off as it may release the Cadburys secrets wore a bit thin after a while.
While your there move about a bit, A place to the west called Milford Sounds is an Absolute must, it may be quite a drive though, but its well worth the trip. Most people get to Milford from Queenstown which is one great place if your into extreme sports this is your place to be.
Also in Dunedin there is the Steepest Street in the world, It doesnt look steep from the bottom, but i wasnt taking a chance in walking it, i had a hangover that Morning so i stayed at the bottom.
A little Further North is Christchurch which im presuming you will fly into. Again another nice place with lots of things to see and do.
In New Zealand you have to experience a Haingi, which is where the locals cook food underground, tastes amazing.
Take in a Rugby game too, you'll see first hand why the All blacks ( Usually) are a great team.

Hope this bit helps. Give me a shout if you need any info.

New Zealand is by far my Favourite place in the world.
