You just know your off to a bad start in life when you get named Hitler. I'm just surprised they weren't taken sooner.

i saw this earlier doesnt say why they took the kids tho!

I personally think when you give a child a name like that, or some other ridiculous name, it equates to child abuse. the years of torment those kids will go through, it will likely scar them for life.

They couldn't even get a birthday cake for the kids with their names on it because the bakery refused to do a Hitler cake lol

That's just plain nazi

Why should it matter?
It's just a name, what if Adolf Hitler's name had been Peter Jones or lets make it more German: Hans Müller should those names be banned?
At the end of the day it was the person that was responsible for the atrocities not the name.

Along those lines, does this offend anyone?

The swastika itself was used by many others before its adoption by the nazi's.

Should the swastika be banned because of it's association with the Nazi's?
My opinion is: No it shouldn't be.

Edit: Sorry the image is a bit larger than I intended it to be, but hey at least the file size is small.

Are you serious? Would you name one of your kids after a man who was responsible for the persucution and murder of millions of people?

Mr Campbell said he named his son after Hitler because he liked the name and because "no-one else in the world would have that name".

I would say it's on a par, how many civilians have been killed in the middle east since the war's started
#16
Well for a start my surname is not Hitler, so that isn't likely to happen.
But a name is a name, like i said before the person was responsible for the atrocities not the name.
Another example and more recent: Saddam Hussein, there would be others out there with this name.
Should they be ashamed of their name and change it? No.

So you think Hitler and Bush are on a par with their actions?? I think not.
Don't think I'm defending Bush, I hate the guy, but to say he's the same as Hitler is way off.

Thats not the point is it. The kids surname isnt Hitler either. The kid is clearly named after Adolf Hitler (his sister is called JoyceLynn Aryan Nation FFS!)

Sorry, but am i the only person to say that taking them off them, with, from what i can see, no abuse, just because of their names is just downright ridiculous?

Likewise, there is nothing to suggest that they were taken because of abuse, infact, it goes as far as to say that the Sergeant hadn't had any dealings with abuse, and that the kids were looked after.

Excactly, the reason is not known so its pointless speculating. However it could be quite telling that the police sergeant says that he's "delt with the family for years"?
