Hi, I have just received a email that claims its from HMV but im not too sure if it is, the email address is [email protected].

The second 'email' in the address makes it a bit suspicious to me and when I highlight all the links on the email, the urls are very similiar. Was wondering if anyone knows if this is hmvs actual email address and if not if anyone has had an email from this address?

Thanks

Im asking because its pretty weird in the fact I had made an order with them and the email was displaying my order but the email address looked suspicious, yet I had no other emails from any other possible HMV addresses so im a bit confused. Unfortunately I wasnt paying much attention to the email first of all and have all ready slicked through on one of the links and logged into my account. I cant phone HMV to check though because its a bank holiday monday so am now worrying that it is actually a hoak email

If the email was displaying your order then you should be fine as who else would be able to get hold of that information?

Yeah that was what I was thinking but it is also because I have recieved similiar emails from paypal and ebay this past week with the 'email' after the @ sign and they seem to be completely different from the normal ebay and paypal email addresses I recieve emails from. Cheers for the help
