It would be even funnier if they sacked Hodgson, no doubt a few million in a pay-off. Get Dalglish, the new saviour, and still end up mid table!

Sorry to disappoint, but Hodgson has a release clause in his contract. ;)

Liverpool's fans answer to everything at their club is just sack people.
And they still haven't won the league in 21 years!!!

Ever thought it might just be the club which is rotten to the core?!
Solution?? Merge Everton and Liverpool Fc together, and just call the new club Everton :)

Moronic comment of the week.

Last 2 managers last over 4 years a piece? Where did you get the sack thing from? Last manager mutually left. This manager was a stop guard and not even Roy believes he should be there from his comments.

Must be a reader of the Sun, no doubt a mindless United fan who doesn't follow there own team.

Where in my comment did i specify managers?
Your lot just like to sack people, be it managers, owners, whoever.
Also, i said it was the fans who keep calling for this, not the actual club.

Tis you who is the moron as you cannot read!

Well done Sherlock, however i was highlighting the fact it was managers as well as others. (nice of you to edit off the end of my quote though!!)
Not a bad try.
And Adam, yes, the owners were sacked by Martin Broughton and his team.
Rafa? also sacked not mutual agreement as you claim... http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/829013-rafael-benitez-sacked-as-liverpool-manager-after-agreeing-limited-payoff

From the article above.

Liverpool have confirmed the departure of their manager Rafael Benítez. The club released a statement this afternoon saying the Spaniard is to leave the club "by mutual consent".

Now to the BBC.

You were highlighting the fact it was managers as well as others? I'm sure, as I already quoted you saying when it was pointed out to you you're talking nonsense, you claimed you wer'nt talking about managers, no? oO and err, I didn't edit your quote, read it again! I highlighted the relevant part where you completely contradicted yourself.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about with regards to "sacking the owners", I'd start at Wikipedia - there is a whole section on what happened, save yourself the embarrassment next time.

Clearly quite an apt avatar :)

HUH?
Please don't gone about facts when you clearly change stance to suit your discussion.

Back to the topic now finally. We 'Liverpool fans' want Roy out due to the fact that he is no good, would United, Arsenal, Chelsea or even Spurs or City be happy with the statements your manager is coming out with. "Stoke a good team", till this weekend we hadn't lost so we are told for 26 years. In Roy's hands we accept defeat and draws to much, and he backs down to easily on statements, he's a great mid table team manager but he is not a big team manager. Any person can admit the helm at Liverpool is a big helm regardless of current position, without going into history Liverpool had 9 internationals in the side and get beat by the same long ball tactic all game. Shows how far we have come in 9 months... Frustating.

Claiming "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it" when asked whether Torres might join the Mancs was the final nail in the coffin of his Liverpool tenure for me.

Well aren't all the big teams finding it more difficult this season??
Look at Chelsea yesterday, United drawing so many and megabucks City just getting nowhere.

It all points to the so-called smaller clubs getting better, so the bigger clubs need to buck their ideas up.

Hodgeson has proved himself a good manager in the past so why not give him a chance?
Ferguson was a goner in 1990 had he not won the FA cup that year, and that was after 4 years of winning nothing.
Look what happended since.

My original point was that Liverpool fans always seem to be calling for someones head, be it Benitez, Hicks & Gillett or Hodgeson.

Liverpools season has had a worse start than most, but the manager hasn't even had a chance to set a team of HIS players up yet.
Its way too easy to shout for the managers head to roll when things aren't going well.

Benitez only lost the fans really when he sold Alonso imo. You do not sell your best player for a persuit of Gareth Barry a totally differernt player, but its all bridge under the water, and not all Benetiz fault, imo I didn't think getting rid of Benetiz fixed anything and was quite happy for him to stay if we found new owners, but players didn't want him to stay by the sounds of things. There is still a major amount of respect for him, I hold him in high regards after many little things he did, giving the Hillsborough fund some money was one of these, and I expect him to give a little again. The guy did well no matter what the tabloids feed you, may have made some major mistakes but before some of them we nearly won the league for the first time in the drought of years. The main problem has always been the owners, and the owners of past employed him along with Martin Broughton, and to be fair Roy was a great stop gap, and he did well to help convice players to stay, but unfortunately Roy is stuck in his old mentality and that is not going to change, settling for players like Poulsen pretty much sums him up, and the owners disagree with his buys already by bringing in Damien Camolli, expect a very different looking Liverpool by next season and a lot more youth.

Owners starting killing our club years in advance from Roy, but Roy is only a stop gap to someone else, I really hope for him he changes things and makes Liverpool succesful but I really can't see it happen.
