Holiday Abroad - Villa or Hotel
Looking at booking a holiday for August with 10 other friends.
Would it be better to go for a Villa or a hotel?
Also anyone have some decent suggestions for places to go, 6 guys and 5 girls?
Pretty much looking to just get hammered every night, was thinking somewhere like Ayia Napa would be fine....

Although I cannot understand how anyone would pay good money to go abroad and poison oneself daily for 10 days in a row, then come home and need another holiday to recover ;) Might as well just go to the nearest beach resort in the UK to do that.

Yeah I know it is essentially going abroad to get slaughtered for 7 nights but thats all the rage with kids nowadays. Plus will be nice to escape from the rubbish weather in the UK.
You will also have the opportunity of meals being provided. This again may be useful if you are too blasted to deal with it yourself.
Villas are probably better suited for those who have the ability to look after themselves
True about the cleaning part of things but I don't think it'll get that bad. Maybe hotel might be better just for an easier time, doubt many people will want to cook. Although having girls around is handy, they'll be more likely to cook for us....

hundreds of places in napa to eat cheaply and every villa I have ever stayed in provide a main service for towels / bedding exchange after 3 days (included in price).
Plus I think itsselfish to stay in a hotel when you are going mob handed and planning on getting wrecked all the time unless of course its a 1 star hole. Own villa & own pool is far better as you can do what you want, when you want. Probably work out about £150 each for a week plus flight cost.
Saw a Villa for around £2000 for the week so between 11 people it's around £180 each then plus flights and spending money.
How much spending money should I be looking at taking?
eating out pretty much every day, some cheap booze for drinks before we go out and then obviously taxis and drinks while out. Also food for the villa.
Maybe 400 euros?

at least €400 if you are planning on eating out twice a day and buying stacks of booze. Cyprus is very expensive these days. You could always pre-load from supermarket booze at the villa before going out. I take it you mean for a week. Flights are gonna be around £200 and transfers to napa about £20 each way each person so budget around £1000 per person all in for the week.
