Holiday Checklist!

So, my holiday is just around the corner, which i'm sure is the same for many of you. It's my first holiday I have planned myself and i'm starting to get a bit nervous just incase I forget anything, which is usually the case with these sorts of things. My question is, what items, documents, anything even have you forgot in the past and what would you remind a friend to check they have got before setting off?

I think i'm going to make a list in a word document actually, just incase :).

:) Its a really good list... the fact you can add how many of each items you're taking and then print it is really good.

Hmmm... We left all the foreign currency in the bedroom one..
We each thought the other had it..
Luckily we had a card with us..

So my advice.. Remember your money and a back up card.

Not only do they need to be in date, but for the majority if not all countries, you need to have at least 6 months remaining on your passport!

Sad I know, but I always write address on stickers for who we need to send postcards to. Saves taking an address book.

Also if you booked from a holiday brochure, take the page advertising your holiday with you - very useful if you feel the hotel/pool is not up to scratch.
