wouln't stress too much if it doesn't come. i am going to turkey which is not covered by the EHIC and my insurance brokers said its worthless anyway, most stuff isn't covered and its all covered again in your private travel insurance

Not with who lou is going with....

A tip from my Ryanair guide:-

*TIP*:- Regarding food, you probably think airport food is also expensive. If you're going to buy sandwiches and the like on the aircraft, I'd advise you to get this In Terminal, Airside (After Security). The best offers I recommend are the Boots Meal Deal (normally £2.99 but can vary from airport to airport) and at WHSmith, there is normally an offer on where you buy a paper and get a Free 750ml bottle of evian water. (This again may not be on at all airports but has always been at BAA airports i have passed through).

I have just got back from Olhos de' Agua which is just at the edge of Albufeira.(We actually walked there one day which took us about an hour) Great beach there & plenty seemed to be going on .... Beach Volleyball was very popular........... lots of the hotels were on the top of hills so be prepared ! (they did have several escalators up the hillsides !! )
It was our first time to Portugal & I must say I really loved it. The weather was very HOT, (The day we left 24th July the country was just going on what they call ''ORANGE ALERT'' which means temp' over 40 ! ) the people are lovely, very helpful but unimposing. If you like Chilli one of their traditional dishes is Peri Peri (which is chicken marinated in chilli sause .. not hot) yummy. Lots of tours available/mini cruises etc & easy to get around on the buses.
Only downside was I found the supermarkets quite expensive. (we went s/c) other than that it was brilliant.
Hope you have a fantastic time.............. I'm sure you will :)

Forgot to say there were NO mosquitoes .

I didn't actually damage the bin at all :(

And besides I've perfected the art of balancing on my car now.

I think that will depend on where abouts you are ? Most of the hotels have entertainment for the children during the day & evening ... apart from that the beach is gorgeous, Golden sands & the sea is warm (although it is the Atlantic) & very clean.............didn't see any Jelly fish or sea-weed .......... I even went in ! (I'm usually a right coward where the sea is concerned!) I'm sure there will be plenty for them to enjoy. There's a couple of Aqua parks & marine park ... as well as swimming with Dolphins.
