Holiday help!

Hey guys!

Me and my fella want to get away abroad in June for 5 days - a week, starting around 16th June.

However we live in Inverness and flights are pretty non-existant from there abroad. I was wondering about sites to find hols? We do like the idea of Rome/Vienna. To be honest he prefers somewhere "non-touristy" by that meaning, probably somewhere like Costa del sol if ya get me.

We'll prob have to fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Newcastle to get anywhere decent. No further south than Newcastle. Neither of us drive either lol so it will be bus to wherever we're flying from!

Obviously we'll want cheap as poss. Also how about when we get there? Best for B+B or package deal??

Sorry bout all these Qs but any input very much appreciated. I've not been on holiday abroad in 9 years - and that was with my parents when I was 17, so really not got a clue to how to go about this.

Thanks

Just to say if you choose Rome I'm sure you wont be disappointed it is probably one of if not the best city in Europe I have been to, there is so much to see, if you do take plenty of memory cards with you. Absolutely wonderful :) I can't wait to go back .......................... have a great time anyway wherever you decide to go.
I can recommend a great b&b too for Rome : here

Definately Ryanair to Rome, book your hotel seperately via one of the sites such as Hotelopia, Alpharooms etc
looking at about half the price of a travel agent. One thing, book with credit card for cover just in case !!
