Just a headsup for anyone in the same situation. We were booked to travel to Sharm last Thursday and information regarding refunds or rebooking has been non existant.Eventually got to speak to someone at Holiday Click this morning and they are offering a full refund or alternative dates.

Meant to be flying to Sharm on Wednesday...spoke to Broadway Travel, who said we SHOULD get flight money back....but they were still trying to negotiate getting hotel money back from suppliers!!!
Gutted we are missing out on our holiday

I'd be taking a full refund asap. Who knows when this will end and whether the company you booked with are still in business when it does.

Feel really sorry for anyone with holiday plans 'going up in smoke'. Especially if it's a long awaited one.

Currently have family stuck in Florida.

My wife and I are going to Edinburgh at the weekend to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.
Looks like the flight is out, but at least we can go by train/car.
Flybe will issue full refunds so that's a positive.

Supposed to be going to Turkey for our honeymoon on Saturday, just hoping it can be sorted before then.

Booked with Thomas Cook so presuming full refund.

We were 1 of the first flights to be cancelled last Thursday - should have been 2 weeks in Turkey but still at home :-( - now do I go back to work or make the most of 2 weeks at home to actually get the place sorted ??! We have been told the flights will be refunded but may take up to 5 months !! - and told to claim the balance from our travel insurance (we booked through Expedia).

If the time they quoted to get the refund is right it'll be MUCH later in the year :x !!

I imagine if they refund everyone at the same time a lot of these travel companies will face financial difficulties

isnt it obvious that you get your money back if you dont go? Doesnt need a thread really imo.

non delivery of any goods or services = full refund

Well, that is not what Broadway Travel are saying at the moment....flights will be refunded....but they say they are trying to get a refund from their suppliers on the hotel....so not so clear cut

This is the same as what Fleetway (Expedia) told us so seems to be the way these things are dealt with :x

The 'sunny' description in your location certainly is at odds with your disposition isn't it? (Rhetorical question).
